Dedicated to advancing the benefits of human-centred organisations

To globally promote the benefits of creating organisations that work with, and celebrate, what it means to be human.

What We Do

We curate and connect insights from social science and practice to help organisations design ways of working that enhance culture, resilience, and performance.

Why We Do It

Evidence across disciplines shows that where organisations apply human-centred ways of working, the impact can be transformative.

We believe that organisational performance is currently inhibited by a limited ability to integrate and apply such insights in practice to achieve strong outcomes.

Our Approach

PfH has identified 3 key approaches to support human-centred ways of working in organisations:

Knowledge
Transfer

Serve as a meeting point or bridge between source and application of human insights

Knowledge Synthesis

Share actionable insights to help organisations understand & apply human insights

Implementation Support

Offer tools & resources for designing and implementing human ways of working

Our Origin Story

Definitions

What does it mean to be purposefully human?

An organisation is purposefully human when they have articulated a clear and shared definition of human in the context of their work. They intentionally appreciate, support, and incorporate this into their service, products, and culture.

What do we mean by human-centred ways of working?

Human-Centred Ways of Working is our unifying term for all the interests, disciplines, and perspectives that explore and apply insights on what it means to be human within an organisational context.

Who We Are

Our leadership team provides PfH with a diverse range of professional knowledge, experience and perspectives, spanning multiple sectors and areas of organisational activity.
